Today we had so much fun going to grandma's and picking pumpkins. This spring, me and the kids helped mom plant a garden. Most of the stuff came up and was way good. But i think the pumpkins did the best! We had so many. Here's Cameron and grandma picking some.

Brylee turned 7 today!!! She woke up early and got right to opening her presents.
All Brylee wanted for her birthday was a barbie bed to go in her barbie house. She was very happy after opening her presents. (she did get a barbie bed)
Brylee had a birthday party and invited some of her friends. I don't do party's very well and so I asked her what she wanted to do and she wanted a BBQ party. So we had some hot dogs and the girls just played it was fun!!! Brylee with all her friends waiting to open her presents.

Mitchell had his first game last week. For most of the boys its there first time playing and there trying to learn how to play, so needless to say the first game was a rough one. The coaches they even had a rough time knowing what to do. So they got back to practice and made some changes that really helped! 
These are some pictures of his 2nd game and boy did they play so much better! Mitchell is still a little intimidated and gets pretty scared to go after the guys and hit them. Ben says it takes time to understand that its fun to hit and you wont get hurt it you hit them hard. We are sure proud of Mitchell for trying his best and working so hard!!!!!!

Cameron had his first game on Saturday Aug. 23. He is a big boy so he has to play line, he's a X man. His # is 72 and he did awesome!

Going back to school August 18 2008.
The kids are going to be on A track this year. Which means we need to be up and going. There school begins at 8am, so today they all did a good job. I think they were all pretty excited to be going back.
The kids on the first day of school they get to go to a brand new school this year. Its not quite done yet but at least they started on time. Just a few things aren't finished yet.
My little brother is going on a mission. He has been called to the Ohio, Cincinnati mission. We are all so proud of him and his decision to serve. Travis had his farewell on Sunday August 17. The meeting went very well. Travis did such a good job and he has a strong testimony of the gospel. He is such a great example to my kids and will be an awesome missionary! We will truly miss having him around to play catch with the boys or taking all the kids on 4 wheeler rides or just chatting with him while I cut his hair. But I know he is doing the right thing and we'll all have fun writing him letters while he is gone!

Today we were at Grandma Smith's helping with the yard. Mitchell was busy mowing the lawn. Cameron and I were cutting down weeds. Cameron was using a trimmer on the weeds when it got stuck on a stick so he grabbed the stick and it got his 2 fingers, and cut them pretty bad. He got 2 stitches in each cut, so a total of 6 stitches. He sure did a good job at the docs, he was way brave!

We were all playing outside and we couldnt find Reece, we started to look for him and he said "here I am". He had crawled into the bunny cage and was just petting Jenna.

On Sunday all the family came over to Grandma and Grandpa's to celebrate Travis's birthday. We had homemade pizza, Grandma is the best cook ever. Then we had cake and ice cream yum,yum!
